Due to the very large number of DVDs being released this Tuesday, we're departing from our usual format... we have just enough room in The DVD Dossier to include a comprehensive list of this week's top releases, plus a quick preview of what's in store next week.
So settle in and take a close look at this week's list.
It includes top theatrical hits like "The Lady Killers," "Soul Plane" and "Jersey Girl," plus TV favorites from today ("Will & Grace," "American Dreams," "Alias") and yesteryear ("Mork & Mindy," "Columbo").
We will, of course, return next Sunday with announcements of new DVDs, including the recent remake of "The Stepford Wives" and "White Chicks," the recent comedy starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans.

Mike Nichols' brilliant interpretation of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning play "Angels in America" comes to DVD next week with a fabulous ensemble cast that includes Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Mary Louise Parker, Ben Shenkman, Jeffrey Wright and Justin Kirk. This one is not to be missed!
